I wish that I could jump forward
Or take a step back in time
To be anywhere but now
And have these feelings of mine

Things are just too uncomfortable

You're surprised that I'm not shaken?
Well so'm I
But, I think that I finally realized
That my heart wasn't really sky high

I cared for you so much
In fact, I still do
And my biggest wish for all of this
Is that you look at me the same way too

But I don't love you anymore
You're the one who changed that
You're the one who took me down
Just looking while I sat

You attached me to a thread
And I was left there to hang
My confusion growing deeper
My emergency bells beginning to clang

Now that you've cut the noose
I hope that our relationship begins to climb
To renew with blocks of friendship
But that will take time...
